A new treatment called Sculptra is now available to patients in the USA, and hopefully soon in Europe.It claims to provide relief for anyone who is dissatisfied with the appearance of their aging facial features but would rather not undergo the pain and expense of old-fashioned fillers and surgical approaches.

Administered through injections into the tissues around the face, Scupltra® causes the skin to become thicker and softer, smoothing out any recesses and depressions caused by aging. The increased volume of skin reduces depressions by increasing the thickness of the skin by as much as 300%.

This should assist in the ongoing fight to reduce ageing.
