PROCEDURES

First steps in surgery

It's filler time!
Although I’m not squeamish, I’d rather not go under anaesthetic to have a face lift. I saw an article on your website about non-invasive procedures, so wondered what the advantage was?

The advantage of a non-invasive procedure is that it can be done quickly and without anaesthetic. Many patients testify to the immediate effects of the procedure; however the results are often temporary and treatments have to be repeated, often every three to nine months.

Two of the more popular treatments are Restylane and Botox, which are both covered in detail elsewhere in the magazine and on cosmeticsurgeryanswers.co.uk. Depending on the treatment needed, these procedures can be carried out in a lunch hour and the thousands of women who have them every year are obviously happy with the results! It used to be the preserve of models and movie stars, but nowadays, almost anyone can get a treatment done for as little as £200. Before undergoing any procedure, we recommend that you seek medical advice from your GP or medical practitioner.
And if you’ve had an experience with non-invasive procedures; good or bad, then get in touch with us at editor@cosmeticsurgeryanswers.co.uk
