Restylane (fillers)

What it is
Restylane is one of the most popular non surgical cosmetic treatments today. Restylane is best described as a soft tissue filler. Anti ageing creams may smooth the surface of the skin but facial lines occur at a much deeper level. Restylane delivers help in the dermis where it is needed to counter the effects of ageing.

Restylane revitalises your looks naturally by simple injections restoring your skin’s youthful volume to give a softer and fresher look.
Restylane is a pure crystal clear hyaluronic acid (HA) gel which when injected into the skin promotes skin elasticity and replenishes our own native HA, which plays a vital part in skin hydration and which we lose through ageing.

A facelift can tighten the skin and reduce the effects of lost elasticity but it cannot replace volume in the skin. Restylane can go where the scalpel can’t.

Restylane is one of the safest non surgical treatments available today. It is well tested and its safety and efficacy is clinically proven. Over 4million treatments worldwide.

What it involves
Restylane softens the appearance of tell tale ageing lines, wrinkles, and creates fuller, more sensuous lips. It can also be used in facial sculpting to enhance high cheek bones or replace lost fatty tissue to restore plump cheeks to give the face a more defined shape. Treatment benefits can be seen instantly and are long lasting, around a year.

Restylane helps people today to hold back the years and refresh their looks subtly and naturally without looking “done”. It provides a natural enhancement.

Restylane delivers action in the dermis where it is needed to lift and smooth away facial lines and to give the face a more defined shape where volume in the skin has been lost. It boosts the skin’s own hydration system and restores youthful volume by supporting the skin’s structure and working at a deep dermal level to delay the signs of ageing.

Restylane is a crystal-clear gel made from non-animal hyaluronic acid and water. The gel is a biotechnologically produced version of hyaluronic acid, a tissue friendly substance that occurs naturally in the body. By replenishing nature’s supply of hyaluronic acid, Restylane revitalises and plumps up the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and giving a softer look.

Other types of reactions are very rare, but about 1 in 2000 treated patients have experienced localized reactions thought to be of a hypersensitive nature.
