PREVAGE™ MD anti-aging treatment
Idebenone, the active ingredient in PREVAGE™ MD, is the first clinically tested and proven topical antioxidant that both corrects and protects the skin. PREVAGE™ MD anti-aging treatment, with one percent idebenone, reduces the appearance of uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles. Idebenone is the most potent and effective topical antioxidant compound when compared to other commonly known antioxidants. Idebenone was found to be more effective than other antioxidants, including: kinetin, coenzyme Q10, lipoic acid, vitamin C, and vitamin E
In a recent clinical trial with 17 participants, patients found that PREVAGE™ MD reduced the signs of skin aging in just four weeks. Seventy-two percent of patients reported a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and 78 percent reported an improvement in skin softness and smoothness. After eight weeks of product use, the following were observed:
- 86 percent reduction in skin roughness and dryness;
- 75 percent increase in skin firmness; and,
- 59 percent improvement in overall appearance.
I tested the product for 30 days using it once a day. I used it over my face and neck being careful of the eye area and concentrating on the lines around my mouth and corners of my eyes.
My skin was quite dull and dehydrated, although I use moisturiser every day, night cream evening and hydrating serums regularly.
I was surprised how quickly my skins began to look fresher. It felt plumper and people started to comment on how good it was looking. I don't think I've seem much difference to the lines and wrinkles, but the overall texture and feel of my skin is definitely better.
Prevage MD doesn't smell very nice, it's a little antiseptic, rather than the fresh floral smell you often get from moisturisers. But it feels silky as it goes on and deifinitely improves the overall plumpness of the skin.
I wonder how long the effects will last after the initial 30 day treatment.
I'm impessed with Prevage MD. I would use it again, but I would like to know how long the effects last for and how often the treatment needs repeating to keep the skin fresh and plump.
