Arrive in Harley Street . Starting to feel very nervous.

Go to the clinc. Took a seat in the waiting room. Really feeling nervous and tired. Nb: I hadn’t eaten or dunk anything since the previous night as instructed.

The general nurse calls me in and tells me partner that I will be ready about 17:00. The nurse takes me into a consultation room and talks me through the medication I Wiill be on for the next week.

15:00

I am met with the anaesthetist.

The anaesthetist talks through my worries about IV Sedation. I was instantly put at ease.

15:10 (approx)

The nurse comes back to give me my gown to wear for the surgery.

The nurse then takes me into theatre where I am greeted by the surgeon. I then laid on the chair and was given the sedation.

Surgery takes place- very little of this I can remember.

17;00 (approx)

The nurse takes me into the recovery room.

I then remember my partner cominf into the room and explaining he was going to get the car.

18:00

My partner and I leave the clinic, esorted into our car with the nurse.

I have an ice pack on and feel sleepy. I was not in any pain and remember feeling very relaxed.
